In Connections California, you’ll find a comprehensive online hub of content, webinars you can attend, e-learning videos you can watch at your own pace, downloadable e-packets, and more!

Preparing to Work: What Students Need to Know

John Merris-Coots, from CDE’s California Career Resource Network, will provide an
overview of the California Department of Education California Career Resource Network
(CalCRN) program’s free career exploration and planning resources. CalCRN’s
resources can be used to help students assess their career related interests, identify
occupational options, and develop Career Action Plans. CalCRN resources help
students understand how to make informed career choices, identify postsecondary
education/training options, and learn about the skills, attitudes, and knowledge
necessary to be successful in the work of work.

Connections California, a project of Parents Helping Parents – Silicon Valley, is made possible thanks to generous support from Santa Clara Family Health Plan.
