- Provide information, training, and support to help families understand and navigate the special education system with their school district, access disability-related programs and services, and connect with community-based resources.
- Provide individual telephone support and conduct individual IEP consultations.
- Conduct special education workshops relating to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Passionate and driven to assist and guide families
- Enjoys working on a team and is a team player
- Knowledge of special education, disability systems, and community organizations
- Strong oral and written communication in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
